StarCruises Welcomes Film Enthusiasts to the TCM Festival Aboard Star Voyager

StarCruises, in collaboration with Guangdong Broadcasting Network’s Greater Bay Area Satellite TV, is set to launch the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Maritime Culture Festival aboard the Star Voyager. This festival, themed "Vibrant Games, Healthy Navigation," aims to promote wellness through TCM during voyages.

Michael Goh, the president of StarDream Cruises, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the fusion of culture and health in enriching guests’ experiences. Greater Bay Area Satellite TV echoed the sentiment, stating that this collaboration seeks to merge traditional culture with modern lifestyles and enhance public health initiatives.

The festival will be integrated into Star Voyager’s cruise itineraries, starting with a five-night journey from Halong Bay to Da Nang and Sanya, departing on October 19, 2025. A second five-night cruise from Boracay to Coron will follow, departing on November 9, 2025.

During their journey, guests will engage with TCM traditions through morning wellness sessions, interactive wellness talks by leading physicians, and specialized treatments like ear acupressure and meridian massages. Culinary experiences will also be a highlight, featuring a "Medicinal Food Homology" banquet designed by TCM experts alongside the ship’s master chefs. This initiative aims to deliver a comprehensive experience that combines wellness, culture, and immersive discovery at sea.
