Brilliant Lady Makes Waves: Virgin’s New Cruise Ship Debuts at PortMiami
Virgin Voyages recently celebrated the inaugural arrival of its latest cruise ship, the Brilliant Lady, at PortMiami’s Terminal V. The event attracted over two thousand attendees, comprising brand partners, performers, and First Mates, who gathered for a grand celebration by the Miami waterfront against the backdrop of the city skyline.
The highlight of the evening was the premiere of Red Hot, a rockumentary-style performance that pulls inspiration from the musical legacy of Virgin Records. The show featured music from iconic artists such as the Spice Girls, David Bowie, Queen, Janet Jackson, and The Sex Pistols, intertwined with archival footage of Sir Richard Branson. Guests also enjoyed Up With A Twist, an extravagant supper club experience styled after the Gatsby era, along with unique onboard offerings like Secret Vintage, a speakeasy-style wine tasting, and Rojo, a restaurant focusing on Spanish-inspired dishes. The evening culminated with Electric, a vibrant dance event taking place in The Manor.
Post-debut, the Brilliant Lady will embark on Caribbean itineraries from Miami, followed by a journey through the Panama Canal, leading to the Mexican Riviera beginning in Los Angeles. In Spring 2026, the ship will venture to Alaska, marking Virgin Voyages’ expansion into the region. By Autumn 2026, all four sister ships—Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady, and Brilliant Lady—are set to convene in the Caribbean for a historic gathering, showcasing the cruise line’s growth and its ongoing global deployment.
