Silversea Unveils Its Most Extensive Global Voyage Collection Yet

Silversea has introduced its most extensive Global Voyage Collection to date, featuring 414 voyages planned from February 2027 to May 2028. This new program involves 12 ships and covers all seven continents, with itineraries ranging from 6 to 77 days and including over 600 destinations across 100+ countries. The collection includes 271 classic sailings and 143 expedition voyages, with 30 maiden calls among the planned journeys. General sales for this collection will begin on October 22, 2025.

Titled "Memories that Move You," the collection features several new additions for Silversea, including its first summer season in Japan, innovative warm-water expeditions, and broadened itineraries for the Nova Class vessels Silver Nova and Silver Ray. Each voyage is crafted to coincide with prominent global events and unique cultural festivals, providing travelers with both renowned and intimate experiences.

Bert Hernandez, the company president, highlighted this deployment as a landmark moment for the brand, focusing on an immersive exploration and authentic cultural experiences. Travelers will have the opportunity to attend famed events like the Monaco Grand Prix, Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival, and the Awa Odori dance festival in Japan, along with quieter, local celebrations and natural wonders.

Silversea’s Nova Class ships will navigate the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Central America, combining popular locales with charming ports like Syros, Gythion, and Bequia. The line’s inaugural summer season in Japan aboard Silver Muse will visit cities including Kyoto, Nagasaki, Shimizu, and Okinawa, aligning visits with local festivities and offering overnight stays in Osaka.

In the realm of expeditions, 143 new sailings will explore remote areas ranging from the Arctic and Greenland to the Great Barrier Reef and Borneo. These voyages will include activities such as Zodiac explorations, guided hikes, and wildlife encounters, along with cultural exchanges with indigenous communities. Notably, there will be 43 Antarctic departures—32 of which will be fly-cruise options—further enhancing the brand’s seamless polar travel through its Puerto Williams hub and the dedicated hotel, The Cormorant at 55 South.

The collection will also see the introduction of three new Grand Voyages, extending immersive journey options. The 60-day Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2027 aboard Silver Dawn will encompass 48 ports across the Mediterranean; the 51-day Grand Voyage Asia 2028 aboard Silver Muse will connect Southeast and East Asia during Japan’s cherry blossom season; and the 77-day Grand Voyage South America 2028 aboard Silver Ray will circumnavigate the continent, visiting 40 destinations and multiple UNESCO World Heritage sites.
