Viva Cruises Reveals Exciting New River Programme for 2027
Viva Cruises has revealed an ambitious sailing schedule for its 2027 river programme, marking a significant moment in the company’s history. As a subsidiary of Scylla, Viva Cruises plans to expand its fleet with two new vessels, Viva Beyond and Viva Unique, which will operate itineraries originating from Venice and Paris, respectively.
The upcoming season will feature a range of new routes across Europe. Sailings will connect key cities including Basel and Brussels, Dresden and Prague, as well as Amsterdam and Nuremberg. In addition, the highly frequented Amsterdam to Budapest route will have an expanded schedule. In the Douro River region, Porto Mirante is set for 32 departures, along with shorter "City Stay" cruises in both Venice and Paris.
To launch this new schedule, Viva Cruises is offering a limited-time onboard credit promotion for new bookings made from October 15 to November 15, with amounts varying according to the length of the cruise.
Andrea Kruse, the company’s chief executive, emphasized that this early release of the programme underscores Viva Cruises’ commitment to innovation and guest satisfaction. The decision aims to provide travelers from different international markets, who often plan their trips well in advance, with more options and flexibility for their river journey planning.
