Silversea Celebrates the 2025 Venetian Society Reunion Voyage Aboard Silver Spirit

Silversea Cruises successfully wrapped up its 2025 Venetian Society Reunion Voyage aboard the Silver Spirit, which ran from October 17 to 29. This annual event, designed for members of Silversea’s loyalty program, attracted a record number of guests for a 12-day Mediterranean cruise that journeyed from Fusina (Venice) to Athens (Piraeus).

Led by Silversea President Bert Hernandez and other senior executives, the voyage included stops at eleven ports across Italy, Croatia, and Greece. The itinerary aimed to build community among returning and new members through curated events and exclusive shore excursions, along with specially designed amenities for the Venetian Society. The trip exemplified Silversea’s commitment to celebrating loyalty and exploration through travel.

The voyage began in Fusina with a welcoming celebration featuring live Venetian music and performers clad in traditional costumes. Guests were treated to Venice’s architectural splendor, including visits to St. Mark’s Basilica and the Piazza San Marco, before making their way to Trieste and the historical city of Dubrovnik in Croatia. In Dubrovnik, attendees explored the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old City and enjoyed local wines at a family-run estate in the Konavle Valley.

The cruise continued along Italy’s Adriatic coast with a stop in Bari before transitioning to Greece. Notable Greek destinations included Santorini and Rhodes, as well as lesser-known spots like Monemvasia and Souda Bay. In Rhodes, guests relished in an Aegean-themed evening complete with local food, music, and traditional performances under the stars. The voyage concluded in Athens, where participants engaged with the city’s museums and archaeological sites.

Onboard, the Silver Spirit offered a wealth of enrichment activities. Guests enjoyed a champagne tea hosted by the line’s butlers and senior officers, complemented by live music. The executive team held private dinners, and two champagne dinners spotlighted Duval-Leroy’s Heritage Collection, featuring rare vintages paired with fine cuisine, showcasing Silversea’s emphasis on refinement.

Looking ahead, Silversea announced the next Venetian Society Reunion Voyage will take place on the Silver Shadow from June 19 to July 1, 2026. This roundtrip cruise from Nice will explore Italy, Sicily, Malta, and the French Riviera, continuing the tradition of exclusive receptions and immersive excursions. Additionally, Silversea is set to launch innovative ships, Silver Nova and Silver Ray, which will operate 50 Mediterranean voyages in 2026, featuring smaller port calls and an emphasis on enhanced destination immersion.
