Authorities Launch Investigation into Passenger Death on Carnival Cruise Ship
Authorities in Miami are currently investigating the death of a passenger aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise ship, which returned to port on Saturday. The Carnival Cruise Line stated that the ship, with a capacity for nearly 4,000 guests, was on a voyage to the Caribbean when the incident occurred.
In response to the situation, Carnival is working closely with the FBI’s Miami office to investigate. The company emphasized its commitment to supporting the passenger’s family during this difficult time and cooperating fully with the authorities.
FBI representative James Marshall confirmed that their office responded to the scene, but did not provide additional details regarding the incident.
