Doha Port Sets New Record for Cruise Season 2025-2026 with 73 Scheduled Ship Calls
The Doha Port in Qatar is poised to host a record number of cruise ship calls during the 2025-2026 winter season, with a total of 73 scheduled visits from November 2025 to May 2026. This season’s itinerary will include 40 partial turnaround calls, 15 full turnaround calls, and three maiden visits. Notably, one of the maiden visits will feature AROYA Cruises, which will be home-porting in the Arabian Gulf for the first time.
AROYA Cruises plans to offer 5- and 7-night itineraries from February to April 2026, originating from Dubai and Dammam, and will include stops in Doha along with other ports in the UAE and Oman. Other cruise lines participating in the upcoming season include Celestyal Cruises, which will base the Celestyal Journey in Doha for a series of 7-night cruises, and MSC Cruises, set to deploy its flagship MSC Euribia on Gulf voyages lasting 3 to 7 nights, calling at Doha, Dubai, and Bahrain.
In preparation for the bustling season, Mwani Qatar, the terminal operator, will enhance passenger facilities, streamline disembarkation processes, and expand the array of shore excursions, further solidifying Qatar’s role as a significant gateway for cruise travel in the region.
