Windstar Cruises Unveils Exciting New Routes for the 2027 European Season
Windstar Cruises has opened bookings for its 2027 European program, featuring a lineup of new routes across the Mediterranean and Northern waters. The cruise line has launched a dozen innovative itineraries that focus on smaller harbors and quieter anchorages, enhancing the travel experience for their guests.
Jess Peterson, head of destination experience and itinerary planning for Windstar, highlighted that the 2027 schedule was crafted to showcase locations that larger vessels typically cannot reach. The emphasis is on intimate ports, extended evening stays, and a relaxed exploration of Europe.
During the 2027 season, five yachts will be operational in Europe. Four of these—Star Legend, Wind Surf, Wind Spirit, and Star Pride—will operate from March to November. The new Star Explorer, scheduled to debut in December 2026, will be based in Europe year-round. The itineraries cover a wide array of destinations, including Greece, Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands, England, Portugal, and Norway.
Specialty cruises for the season include two coinciding with the Grand Prix, one positioned for viewing a total solar eclipse, and a mystery-themed journey. Windstar will also reintroduce its popular shorter getaway cruises in 2027.
