Doha Port Sets Record for 2025-2026 Cruise Season with 73 Scheduled Ship Calls
The Doha Port in Qatar, managed by Mwani Qatar, is poised for an impressive cruise season in 2025-2026, set to welcome a total of 73 cruise ship calls from November 2025 to May 2026. This upcoming season will see a mix of 40 partial turnarounds, 15 full turnarounds, and three maiden voyages, including the inaugural call by Aroya Cruises from Saudi Arabia.
Aroya Cruises plans to home-port in the Arabian Gulf, offering 5- and 7-night itineraries between February and April 2026, sailing from Dubai and Dammam, with stops in Doha, among other ports in the UAE and Oman. Additionally, Celestyal Cruises will base the Celestyal Journey in Doha for multiple 7-night trips, while MSC Cruises aims to feature its flagship, the MSC Euribia, on various Gulf voyages including destinations like Doha, Dubai, and Bahrain.
With the season’s launch, the terminal will introduce enhanced passenger facilities, improved disembarkation processes, and an expanded selection of shore excursions. These upgrades are intended to solidify Qatar’s position as a significant cruise destination in the region.
