Exploring the Caribbean: A Comprehensive Review of Princess Cruises’ 2027-2028 Itineraries

Princess Cruises has announced its Caribbean itineraries for the 2027-2028 season, presenting the most diverse program the brand has ever offered for this region. Passengers can look forward to journeys that include visits to 31 ports, departing from five homeports.

A highlight of this new schedule is the introduction of Celebration Key, an exclusive resort on Grand Bahama Island specifically for Carnival Corporation’s ships. The inaugural visit by the new Star Princess is planned for November 1, 2026, providing travelers an opportunity to enjoy the serene lagoons and expansive beaches. This venture is recognized as the largest of its kind by Carnival Corporation.

Bookings for the cruises have opened, with options for island experiences available starting mid-December. Following the Star Princess, the Regal Princess will visit Celebration Key on November 9, 2026, and other vessels such as Caribbean Princess, Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess, and Sun Princess will participate throughout the 2026-2028 seasons.

Jim Berra, Princess Cruises’ chief commercial officer, emphasized that the enhanced Caribbean offerings will allow guests more opportunities for relaxation and exploration, particularly with the addition of Celebration Key.

The new itineraries will run from October through April and will mark the first time Star Princess and Sun Princess operate in these waters side-by-side, with Star Princess also launching its inaugural season from Port Canaveral.

Princess Cruises is scheduled to conduct 187 departures on 43 routes lasting from 4 to 15 days, covering 31 destinations that include several UNESCO World Heritage sites like St. Kitts and Martinique. The ports of call will span across the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean, with sailings from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, New York City, and San Juan.

The 2027-2028 season will feature 22 sailings from September to April on five ships—Caribbean Princess, Island Princess, Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, and Star Princess—with various itineraries exploring both coasts and crossings between Los Angeles or Vancouver and Florida. The initiative will allow overnight stays in places such as Aruba and Cartagena, enriching the travel experience.

Celebration Key is designed to provide a wide range of leisurely activities, featuring a mile-long beach, tranquil lagoons, and a variety of dining options. Different zones cater to families and adults alike, including the family-friendly Starfish Lagoon and the exclusive Pearl Cove Beach Club.
