Celestyal Discovery Enhances Iconic Arabia Itineraries with Expanded Shore Excursion Offerings
Celestyal Cruises has announced an expansion of its shore excursion offerings for the "Iconic Arabia" itineraries, which will launch in December 2025 aboard the 1,360-guest Celestyal Discovery. This vessel will operate various cruises ranging from 3 to 7 nights, departing from its seasonal base in Abu Dhabi.
The newly enhanced program includes fresh tour options for the ship’s inaugural stop at Ras Al Khaimah, along with additional excursions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The itineraries will visit a series of ports, including Doha, Qatar; Khasab, Oman; Dubai, UAE; and Sir Bani Yas Island. Prices start at $339 per person, encompassing meals, select beverages, Wi-Fi, port fees, and gratuities.
Excursions available will range from half-day to full-day experiences, and even 2-day options. A unique feature of the program is the "Authentic Encounters," aiming to offer guests intimate experiences with the local cultures in smaller groups. Highlighted tours include a full-day desert and mountain adventure in Ras Al Khaimah, a pearl farming experience, a half-day tour in Dubai featuring the Ain Dubai observation wheel, as well as various cultural and culinary explorations in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, a full-day excursion to Yas Waterworld is on offer.
This initiative follows a three-year partnership between Celestyal and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, aimed at promoting the emirate as a prime travel destination. Lee Haslett, the Chief Commercial Officer at Celestyal, emphasized that the new shore excursions are designed to give travelers insider access to the region’s culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes, helping them connect with the authentic essence of each location.
