HAL-Holland America Line has announced its 2027–2028 cruise schedule featuring voyages through Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. The itineraries will run from September 2027 to March 2028, offering trips ranging from 14 to 35 days. Three HAL ships, including the Westerdam, Zaandam, and Koningsdam, will explore iconic destinations like Bora Bora and the Bay of Islands.
Travelers can look forward to overnight stays in ports such as Melbourne, Cairns, and Lautoka, Fiji, allowing for deeper cultural and culinary experiences. The program aims to provide an authentic experience, with opportunities to visit natural wonders like Milford Sound and to engage in activities like snorkeling in the stunning South Pacific waters.
Highlighted voyages include the 26-day Australia, Coral Sea & Fiji journey aboard Westerdam. Another notable route is a 35-day Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas cruise with stops in Bora Bora, Papeete, and Honolulu.
Shorter options also include 14-day cruises from Sydney to Auckland and a 16-day "South Australia Discovery Holiday" with time in Melbourne. Over a hundred shore excursions focused on wildlife and nature will be offered, including kayaking in glowworm caves and visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Onboard, the dining experience will emphasize regional cuisine, featuring dishes such as meat pies, pavlovas, and tropical fruits, allowing guests to savor the local flavors of Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.
