Silversea Sets Sail into the Future: First Cruise Line to Install AI Fitness and Portable Golf Simulator
Silversea has made a pioneering move by becoming the first cruise line to implement AI-powered strength training and luxury golf simulators across its fleet. This strategic enhancement signals a significant evolution in the wellness and athletic offerings available on cruise ships.
The AI strength training device named “amp” has already been installed on the Silver Spirit. This device customizes workouts based on individual performance and provides personalized feedback through an integrated app. Silversea aims to extend this technology to all its classic ships by the year 2026.
In December 2025, the Silver Dawn will introduce SeaDrivePro by Off the Deck, a portable golf simulator. Originally designed for superyachts, this simulator has been adapted for use at sea, tracking swing data in real time and offering guidance from guest golf professionals. It will be part of Silversea’s offerings on their 2026 World Cruise.
Beyond these technological advancements, Silversea is expanding its fleetwide programming. New amenities like pickleball courts and putting greens will enhance leisure activities, first launching on the Silver Muse. Additionally, creative workshops and immersive entertainment experiences, such as moonlight films and silent discos, will be introduced.
Silversea is also broadening its educational offerings through lecture series on a variety of topics, including longevity and regional history. Culinary experiences are set to include wellness-focused menu options, such as fresh-pressed juices and wellness shots, available in venues like the Arts Café and La Terrazza.
