The Moby Zazà Ferry Sails Again: Relaunching as the WORLD LEGACY

The Moby Zazà ferry, originally built in 1982, has embarked on a new chapter as it has been sold and relaunched under the name WORLD LEGACY. The vessel, which has a storied history that includes multiple names and ownerships, was sold to a Marshall Islands-based company in March and soon acquired by a firm based in Singapore.

After departing via the Suez Canal in mid-May bearing the interim name ZAZA, the ship has been reflagged to Liberia and given its new name. The ferry has been transformed from a traditional vessel into a floating lifestyle destination, positioning itself as more than just a mode of transport.

Guests can board WORLD LEGACY in Singapore or Malaysia for stays that can range from short getaways to extended vacations. The ship’s daily operations are designed to shift throughout the day; by day, it serves as a relaxation and wellness space, while at night it becomes a lively entertainment venue offering dining, cocktails, live music, and immersive shows.

Accommodations onboard consist of about 300 staterooms that cater to different needs—from compact two-person cabins to family rooms and luxurious suites. The variety in dining includes a café with Asian-inspired dishes, a traditional Chinese restaurant, and a buffet.
