Cunard Modifies Queen Mary 2 Itinerary Following Departure Delays
Cunard has made alterations to the itinerary of the Queen Mary 2 following a delayed departure from New York on November 26, 2025. The cruise, spanning 12 nights in the Caribbean, initially planned stops at five ports. However, due to the late embarkation, Cunard advised guests to arrive at the cruise terminal for boarding two hours later than indicated on the boarding passes.
Consequently, the ship’s call to St. Kitts on December 4, 2025, has been canceled. Instead, guests will benefit from an overnight stay in Bridgetown, Barbados. The Queen Mary 2 is now set to arrive in Barbados on December 2, remaining there until late evening on December 3. St. Lucia, originally planned for December 4, will now be visited on that newly allocated date.
All pre-purchased shore excursions for the canceled St. Kitts stop have been refunded, and any tours previously booked for St. Lucia have been rescheduled accordingly. The ship is still slated to visit St. Maarten and Dominica, emphasizing Cunard’s commitment to enhancing guest experiences despite the changes.
Cunard expressed its regret for any inconvenience caused and appreciated guests’ understanding and flexibility as they finalize these arrangements. Following this Caribbean itinerary, the Queen Mary 2 will return to its traditional North Atlantic schedule, which includes trans-Atlantic crossings and holiday voyage plans.
