This uptrend reflects a year-round increase in cruise traffic, with the German market continuing to dominate visitor numbers. The freshly released call list for 2026 highlights consistent growth in cruise operations throughout the ports.
Significantly, seven vessels are poised to make their inaugural visits next season, alongside the introduction of a new cruise brand. The Port of Nynäshamn is set to see 21 calls, representing its highest activity in recent years. Overall forecasts indicate that activity will surpass both 2025 and 2024 levels.
AIDA Cruises continues to lead the way as the most frequent caller, with 32 planned visits. Approximately one-third of all passengers are expected to travel with cruise lines targeting the German market.
