Regent Unveils Innovative Epicurean Enrichment Studio Concept
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is introducing an innovative Epicurean Enrichment Studio aboard the Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager. This concept aims to enhance culinary experiences at sea, allowing guests to explore destinations through culinary traditions, flavors, and narratives.
Jason Montague, the Chief Luxury Officer at Regent, emphasized that culinary exploration is vital for meaningful travel. The experiences are crafted to engage guests, facilitating a connection to local cultures through cooking. Examples of the planned activities include mastering spice blending in India and tasting premium olive oils from the Mediterranean.
The Epicurean Enrichment Studio, designed by executive chef Kathryn Kelly, will first appear on the Seven Seas Mariner during its 2026 World Cruise and on the Seven Seas Voyager starting May 2026. The studio will focus on five core elements: Epicurean Passport Series, Chef’s Circle, Chef’s Table, Chef-Led Epicurean Enrichment Tours, and Chef-Hosted Dining.
To make way for this new initiative, the Stars’ Lounge on the Seven Seas Mariner and the Club.com area on the Seven Seas Voyager will be transformed into dedicated culinary spaces. This addition is part of a larger multi-million-dollar refurbishment plan aimed at strengthening Regent’s position in ultra-luxury cruising.
The culinary journey for guests will kick off each cruise with an open-house sparkling wine reception where they can meet the resident chefs and learn about available programs. Chef Kathryn Kelly noted that the Epicurean Enrichment Studio is about blending history and culture with authentic dining experiences, allowing guests to savor regional specialties in a narrative-rich context.
