Virgin Voyages Unveils Exciting Month-Long Alaskan Cruise Season for 2026
Virgin Voyages is set to debut its first Alaskan cruise season in summer 2026, focusing on a leisurely, adults-only experience. They recently announced a special 2026 Alaska Summer Season Pass, which offers travelers a month of consecutive sailings on the MS Brilliant Lady. This initiative allows guests to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of Alaska at a relaxed pace.
The itineraries will showcase key Alaskan ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point, while also providing scenic views through the Inside Passage, Hubbard Glacier, and Tracy Arm Fjord. Company executives highlighted that the unique landscapes of Alaska complement a slower, immersive style of travel, enhanced by the ship’s contemporary amenities and adult-focused activities.
Virgin Voyages has planned four 30-day pass periods throughout the summer of 2026, starting with departures from Seattle on May 28. Each pass includes a Central Sea Terrace cabin for two, daily drink credits, curated shore experiences, a glacier-focused excursion, enhanced Wi-Fi for work, laundry service, access to a thermal spa, and priority boarding. Moreover, pass holders will receive an outdoor travel kit featuring a camera, binoculars, and branded apparel.
Pricing for the passes varies based on the date range, with costs set at $26,000 for May 28–June 23, $38,000 for June 23–July 23, $35,000 for July 30–August 27, and $36,000 for August 27–September 26. The fares cover Virgin Voyages’ Premium Fare and service charges for two guests. An early booking incentive running until January 29, 2026, allows travelers to pay full fare for one guest while the second guest receives an 80% discount, along with drink credits.
