Mystic Signs Contract for New Cruise Ship Construction in China
China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Corporation recently finalized a deal with Mystic Cruises to construct a new cruise ship, with the option of three additional vessels. The agreement was formalized at a ceremony held in China, where Mario Ferreira, the president of Mystic Cruises, and Mei Zhonghua, the vice general manager of China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry, were present to sign the contract.
Previously, Ferreira hinted at potential shipbuilding negotiations in China, reflecting Mystic’s aspirations for growth in the expedition cruise market.
