Holland America and Seabourn Set to Stream Soccer World Cup Matches Onboard
Holland America Line and Seabourn have secured broadcasting rights from IMG to air the FIFA World Cup matches on their ships in 2026. This significant event will enable guests to view all 104 matches live during the tournament, scheduled from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Holland America plans to feature major matches on their Lido Pool big screen or in the World Stage theater on select ships, aiming to provide an exceptional viewing experience. Michael Smith, HAL’s senior vice president of guest experience, emphasized the importance of watching these matches live while enjoying a cruise.
Seabourn will also offer their guests the chance to catch the action on Sport 24 Special Event Channels aboard their three ocean ships. Mark Tamis, Seabourn’s president, highlighted the significance of the FIFA World Cup as a prime opportunity for guests to experience memorable moments while traveling to unique destinations.
