Princess Cruises to Broadcast World Cup 26™ Across Its Ocean Routes
Princess Cruises is set to offer live transmissions of all matches during the FIFA World Cup 26™ across its fleet of seventeen ships. This agreement with sports media rights agency IMG will allow guests to enjoy coverage of the tournament from June 11th to July 19th, 2026, while sailing to destinations like Alaska, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean.
The broadcasts will be available on dedicated Sport 24 Special Event Channels throughout the ships. Viewers can access live feeds through in-stateroom televisions, and select marquee matches will be shown on larger screens in public areas such as Lido Decks. This initiative coincides with a surge of global interest in football and reinforces similar broadcast agreements made by other cruise lines.
In addition to the live match coverage, Princess Cruises is promoting several voyage options that align with the tournament dates. This includes an Inside Passage sailing from Seattle in mid-June, Mediterranean cruises from European ports, and a 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise in July. Early reservation fare offers have also been introduced to support these sailings and the wider 2026 program.
