Star Voyager Set to Launch Short Cruises from Hong Kong in Early 2026
StarCruises will be reintroducing its ship, the Star Voyager, to Hong Kong’s Ocean Terminal in early 2026. Scheduled to operate between February 13 and March 29, 2026, the vessel will offer short cruises to various coastal destinations along China’s southern coast.
This new program is part of Star Voyager’s extensive nine-month deployment in Hong Kong throughout 2026 and includes two-night roundtrip cruises to Xiamen and three-night roundtrip voyages to Sanya. These short trips provide travelers with the opportunity for convenient getaways, combining relaxing time at sea with visits to regional coastal cities.
Mid-week and Friday evening departures for the Xiamen cruises will ensure guests can enjoy a brief escape without taking extended leave from work, returning to Hong Kong by Sunday afternoon. This itinerary will allow guests to discover Xiamen’s waterfront attractions, historic districts, and markets. For the slightly longer Sanya voyages, departing on Sundays, passengers can immerse themselves in Hainan Island’s beaches, regional culture, and local cuisine.
Later in the season, the Star Voyager plans to expand its offerings with a five-night cruise from Hong Kong to Vietnam, featuring stops in Nha Trang and Da Nang, along with an additional stop in Sanya on March 8, 2026. This adds to StarCruises’ aim to provide flexible coastal cruise options from Hong Kong, accommodating passengers interested in both quick sea trips and more extensive voyages during the early months of 2026.
