Cunard’s Queen Anne Sets Sail: World Cruise Begins in Southampton
The Queen Anne, a vessel from Cunard, began its world cruise today, departing from Southampton. This voyage is set to span 110 nights and will take the ship to 30 different ports across several continents, including locations in the Canary Islands, Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Americas.
Cunard promises memorable experiences during this journey, highlighted by overnight stays in key cities like Cape Town, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Los Angeles. The itinerary features evening departures from notable stops such as Port Elizabeth, Colombo, and Honolulu.
After leaving Southampton, the Queen Anne will first sail towards the Canary Islands and Cape Verde. The ship will continue on to various destinations in Namibia and South Africa, rounding the Cape of Good Hope as part of the cruise. Other stops include locations in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia, such as Reunion, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Singapore.
As the ship heads toward Australia, it will also visit Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Notable Australian destinations include Darwin, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, and Sydney, followed by stops in the South Pacific Islands, including Vanuatu and Fiji.
On the return leg to Southampton, the Queen Anne is scheduled to visit Hawaii, California, and Guatemala, before crossing the Panama Canal and making stops in the Caribbean and Florida. The cruise will conclude with the ship’s arrival back in the UK on April 30, 2026.
In addition to the Queen Anne, Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 is set to offer its own world cruise during the winter of 2025-26, departing from Southampton as well, with a 108-night itinerary covering ports in North America, the Caribbean, the West Coast, Hawaii, and more.
