Oceania Sonata Unveils Expanded Suites in Anticipation of 2027 Launch

Oceania Cruises has unveiled plans for enhanced suite accommodations on its upcoming ship, Oceania Sonata, which is set to join the fleet in August 2027. This vessel, marking the debut of the Sonata Class, is designed with a strong focus on luxury, dedicating approximately one third of its staterooms to suite offerings. Oceania Sonata will weigh in at 86,000 gross tons and is expected to host 1,390 passengers, supported by an 855-member crew.

The design and layout of the suites have been crafted based on feedback from previous guests, aiming to combine spaciousness with modern elegance. The ship embodies Oceania’s commitment to bespoke services and meticulously curated environments.

Among the standout accommodations are four lavish Owner’s Suites, each more than 2,500 square feet, positioned to provide stunning ocean views with large wraparound verandas. These suites feature two bedrooms, including a primary suite equipped with a king-size bed and a luxurious marble bathroom.

Additionally, there are eight Vista Suites, each ranging from 1,500 to over 1,900 square feet, designed with generous outdoor spaces and unobstructed views. These suites also include living and dining areas, as well as bathrooms finished with double vanities and rainfall showers.

A new type of accommodation, the Horizon Suite, will comprise 50 units with over 600 square feet of space, bridging the gap between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories. These suites will provide separate living and sleeping areas, larger verandas, and wardrobe spaces.

The total suite inventory will also consist of 63 Penthouse Suites and 82 Penthouse Deluxe Suites, designed to maximize light and ocean vistas through floor-to-ceiling glass doors.

All suites aboard Oceania Sonata will come with dedicated butler service. Certain suite categories will feature in-room illy coffee machines, ensuring a consistent level of luxury and comfort throughout the ship, complemented by Tranquility Beds and Aquamar bath amenities.
