My Cruises Announces Second Extended Global Voyage on Oceania’s Regatta
My Cruises, a part of Ignite Travel and operating under Australia’s Flight Centre Travel Group, has announced a second charter of Oceania’s vessel Regatta. This initiative aims to launch an extended global itinerary, being marketed as the world’s longest cruise.
This follows their initial year-long voyage, branded as Explorations by Norwegian, which is set to depart from Civitavecchia in September. The upcoming journey is planned for the 2027–2028 season and will once again exceed 360 days at sea, visiting over 230 ports worldwide. New destinations on the itinerary include ports in Kenya, the Philippines, Borneo, and Taiwan, along with additional embarkation and disembarkation points in Dubai, Istanbul, and Bali.
The cruise will feature longer overnight port stays and a flexible booking system, allowing passengers to join for individual segments as short as 10 nights or for the entire circumnavigation. Notable segments include a 28-day Panama Canal transit from Vancouver to New York, a 33-day Mediterranean round-trip, and a 54-night European exploration.
Regatta is also scheduled for a complete circumnavigation of Australia, starting and finishing in Sydney. The decision to run the extended itinerary for a second time comes after a positive market response to the inaugural sailing in 2026.
