Nassau Cruise Port Welcomes Three Exciting Maiden Calls!
Nassau Cruise Port recently celebrated the inaugural visits of three major cruise ships: the MSC Grandiosa, the Oceania Allura, and the Seven Seas Grandeur. These maiden calls took place in December 2025, marking an exciting milestone for the port.
The MSC Grandiosa made its first arrival in Nassau on December 7, 2025, as part of its inaugural season sailing from Port Canaveral. This special occasion included a plaque-exchanging ceremony attended by Captain Danilo Cha and Operations Coordinator Autria Bethel from the port.
Just a few days later, on December 10, the Oceania Allura, the newest ship from Oceania Cruises, docked in Nassau. It too was honored with a plaque-exchanging ceremony, where Captain Pavle Silic exchanged gifts with Nassau’s Port Coordinator, Tucker Maura.
The Seven Seas Grandeur followed suit, visiting the port on December 10, 2025. Captain Luciano Montesanto welcomed Nassau Cruise Port officials aboard for another plaque-exchanging ceremony, including Marketing and Communications Coordinator Ashley Darville, Operations Coordinator Tucker Maura, and Assistant Events Manager Iesha Rolle.
Nassau Cruise Port officials expressed optimism about these first calls, noting that they demonstrate the port’s growing appeal across multiple cruise segments, particularly in the luxury market. The Seven Seas Grandeur is scheduled to return for two additional calls in March and December 2026, while the Oceania Allura is set for one more visit in early April 2026. The MSC Grandiosa, maintaining a busy schedule, plans to make a total of 22 visits through December 2026 as part of its series of seven-night cruises to the Caribbean and Bahamas.
