Cruise Europe Announces Educational Voyage Aboard MSC Splendida
Cruise Europe is organizing a unique 4-day educational voyage on the MSC Splendida, commencing on February 7th. This initiative aims to enhance the understanding of cruise shipping operations among its members through structured programs focused on port interaction and shipboard product knowledge.
The voyage will kick off in Barcelona, where participants will have the opportunity to explore the port. The itinerary includes a stop in Marseille, with visits to significant local attractions like the basilica, the palace, and the old port. Members will also engage in regional meetings on board. A visit to Genoa is scheduled, including a tour of Costa Cruises’ headquarters, allowing members to connect with senior management and learn about itinerary planning, shore excursions, and destination development.
While in Genoa, executives from MSC Cruises will conduct an onboard workshop discussing community engagement, the development of shore excursions, and sustainability practices.
