Superyacht Emerald Kaia Successfully Completes Sea Trials Ahead of Its Adriatic Inaugural Season
Emerald Cruises has announced that its recently launched superyacht, Emerald Kaia, has successfully completed its sea trials and is on track for its inaugural voyage on May 10, 2026. This 110-meter vessel will offer 7-night itineraries in the Adriatic Sea, departing from both Dubrovnik and Split, Croatia.
Emerald Kaia is designed for access to smaller ports and will visit stunning locations such as Hvar, Korčula, and Mljet in Croatia, as well as Kotor in Montenegro. The yacht has a capacity for 360 guests, featuring a total of 180 staterooms that include 44 Balcony Suites, 12 Deluxe Balcony Suites, 8 Terrace Suites, and 2 Owner’s Suites.
The completion of sea trials marks an essential step toward final delivery and the commencement of guest services. Emerald Cruises aims to enhance its ocean yacht offering with Emerald Kaia, combining a compact design with more extensive onboard amenities and region-specific itineraries.
Onboard, guests can enjoy various public spaces, including an infinity-style swimming pool, a Sky Bar, an observation lounge, and wellness facilities featuring a spa and fitness center. The dining experience centers around the Aqua restaurant, supplemented by the specialty venue, Aperitivo. A highlighting feature is the marina platform at the stern, providing access to various water activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and snorkeling.
Emerald Kaia joins its sister ship, Emerald Azzurra, which began service in 2022, expanding Emerald Cruises’ collection of ocean yachts geared towards smaller ships and destination-focused sailing experiences.
