Marella Cruises Unveils Exciting Entertainment Lineup for 30th Anniversary Sailings
Marella Cruises is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a series of special sailings starting May 1, 2026, featuring live performances and appearances from various entertainers across its five-ship fleet. The line-up includes Fleur East, Boyzlife, La Voix, and celebrity guests like Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards and Anthea Turner.
The Marella Discovery 2 will be a key part of the celebrations, holding a performance by Fleur East. Well-known for her hits like "Uptown Funk" and "Sax," she will also engage in a discussion with Edwards about his experiences from the 1988 Winter Olympics. Similarly, the Marella Explorer will welcome Boyzlife, the duo composed of Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden, showcasing popular hits from both Boyzone and Westlife and featuring a talk with Edwards about his Olympic journey.
Onboard entertainment will also take place on the Marella Voyager with performances by La Voix, focusing on vocal-centric musical numbers. Additionally, Marella Discovery will serve as the host for a live session featuring Anthea Turner, where she’ll share insights from her career on British television, including her work on "Blue Peter" and "GMTV."
Each of the seven-night anniversary cruises promises a coordinated events schedule including a birthday gala, themed parties echoing the mid-1990s, and various trivia contests related to that decade. Marella Cruises anticipates additional entertainment announcements for Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Discovery in the near future.
Chris Hackney, the Chief Executive of Marella Cruises, emphasized that this anniversary program is designed to attract both returning guests and newcomers, combining the cruise line’s all-inclusive offerings with entertainment linked to its founding year. Fleur East expressed her excitement, noting her earlier performance at the launch of Marella Discovery 2, and looks forward to returning for the anniversary celebrations.
Prices for the 30th anniversary sailings start at GBP 1,305 per person based on the 30th Birthday itinerary aboard Marella Explorer, which includes gratuities and service charges in the fare.
