Tracy Wilson Appointed as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line has appointed Tracy Wilson as the new Senior Vice President and General Manager of its operations. This follows the retirement of Sharon Siskie, who had been at the helm during a transformative time for the company.
Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences, praised Wilson’s leadership, highlighting her passion for Disney storytelling and her extensive operational knowledge as pivotal for the cruise line’s future. With a fleet expansion underway, Wilson’s strategic vision and strong commitment to enhancing customer experiences position her to significantly impact the next phase of Disney Cruise Line’s growth.
Wilson brings over 30 years of experience with The Walt Disney Company, where she has been recognized for her collaborative approach and dedication to excellence. Her previous role as Senior Vice President of Finance involved leading strategic planning efforts that enabled the construction of five new ships, marking a significant achievement for the company.
Throughout her career at Disney, Wilson has been influential in various sectors, including Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and Disneyland Paris, as well as in marketing and distribution for Walt Disney Studios. Her diverse experience means she is well-equipped to lead Disney Cruise Line as it embarks on ambitious plans, including the imminent launch of the Disney Adventure and an expansion to 13 ships by 2031.
