Carnival Cruise Line has announced a significant expansion of its operations in Baltimore, set to take place in the fall of 2027. This marks the first time two Carnival ships will be stationed in Baltimore year-round. The Carnival Miracle will join the Carnival Pride for the 2027-28 season, providing guests with more diverse Caribbean cruise options and longer voyages.
Scheduled to arrive on November 20, 2027, the Carnival Miracle will undertake a 15-day transatlantic journey from Civitavecchia, Italy, before entering service. This Spirit-class ship will offer seven-, eight-, and nine-day sailings to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean, along with extended 12- and 14-day “Carnival Journeys” that include destinations like Dominica, Guadeloupe, and St. Maarten.
Carnival President Christine Duffy emphasized the significance of Baltimore as a key homeport over the last two decades, as the inclusion of Carnival Miracle enhances the variety of ships and cruise itineraries available to travelers.
In addition to the Carnival Miracle, the Carnival Pride will continue offering year-round sailings from Baltimore, with itineraries to the Bahamas, Bermuda, and longer trips to numerous Caribbean destinations including Aruba and St. Lucia.
As Carnival prepares for this expansion, Baltimore will join a select group of U.S. ports hosting two Carnival ships simultaneously during the upcoming season.
