Costa Cruises is set to spotlight its World Cruise segments aboard the Costa Serena, with a special focus on the last leg of a late 2026 itinerary that promises an enriching exploration of South America. This segment allows travelers to discover the stunning landscapes of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego over 14 nights, starting from December 8, 2026.
Departing from San Antonio (Santiago), Chile, guests will journey to several breathtaking destinations, including Puerto Montt, Puerto Chacabuco, and Punta Arenas in Chile. The itinerary also includes iconic stops at Cape Horn and Ushuaia, Argentina, before concluding on December 22 in Buenos Aires, the final stop for the World Cruise.
In addition to the 14-night experience, Costa Cruises offers several shorter segments:
- A 59-night journey from Hong Kong, China, to Buenos Aires
- A 51-night trip from Tokyo to San Antonio (Santiago)
- A 46-night route from Hong Kong to San Antonio (Santiago)
- A 25-night voyage from Tokyo to Sydney, Australia
For those preferring the full experience, the complete late 2026 World Cruise embarks from Tokyo, Japan, on October 18, featuring a 65-night adventure across 15 countries and three continents, including stops in Taiwan, China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, New Caledonia, Fiji Islands, Tonga, Polynesia, and Easter Island.
Following the World Cruise, Costa Serena will shift its focus to South America, offering cruises ranging from four to ten nights, with embarkation points in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Uruguay, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From January through March 2027, the cruise line will also conduct eight- and nine-night trips in the Rio de la Plata region and the beautiful Brazilian coastline, departing from Rio de Janeiro.
