Silver Spirit Set for Stylish Interior Upgrade at Fincantieri’s Palermo Shipyard

The luxury cruise ship Silver Spirit is set to undergo a significant interior renovation at Fincantieri’s Palermo shipyard. The renovation will be completed in time for its May 2026 deployment in Northern Europe.

This refurbishment will introduce Silversea’s innovative Sea And Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) culinary program to the ship. The program will feature new food and beverage venues that capture the essence of the destinations on each itinerary. Among the new offerings will be a S.A.L.T. Kitchen serving dishes inspired by local ingredients, a S.A.L.T. Bar that will offer regional spirits and crafted cocktails, and a S.A.L.T. Lab for small-group culinary experiences focused on local traditions.

In addition to the culinary enhancements, Silver Spirit will also see upgrades to public areas and passenger accommodations. The Venetian Lounge will receive a makeover that includes new drapery, carpeting, and reupholstered seating, as well as an LED display wall for entertainment. Outdoor spaces and the pool deck will be redesigned with updated furniture, while the spa and fitness center will receive modern equipment. Notably, new Medallion Suites will be introduced, featuring private verandas, luxurious bathrooms equipped with bathtubs and walk-in showers, and separate bedrooms. This is part of Silversea’s approach to standardizing comfort across its Muse-Class vessels, especially following the recent updates to its sister ship Silver Muse.

Following the upgrades, the Silver Spirit will launch a series of voyages across Northern and Western Europe, including itineraries through the Norwegian fjords, the British Isles, and various ports in Western Europe, before heading into the Mediterranean.

These renovations are in line with the cruise line’s ongoing strategy to enhance the onboard experience by upgrading culinary offerings, accommodation standards, and guest spaces, responding to the growing expectations in luxury cruising.
