Carnival Conquest Sets Sail from Miami After Exciting Shipyard Refurbishment
The Carnival Conquest has rejoined the cruising scene from PortMiami after completing a 12-day dry dock at Grand Bahama Shipyard. This refurbishment included extensive structural and interior updates, allowing the ship to resume its year-round service for short cruises to The Bahamas and various Caribbean ports.
One significant addition is the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, designed to honor military veterans and active-duty service members. Proceeds from certain sales in this bar will support Operation Homefront, an organization dedicated to aiding military families.
The ship’s casino has seen an expansion and redesign, enhancing the gaming experience with a wider variety of games and establishing a non-smoking section. For younger passengers, the Club O2 teen area has received updates with more gaming options and a refreshed look. Additionally, the WAREHOUSE video arcade was revamped to offer more interactive gaming experiences.
Retail venues onboard have also been modernized, featuring updated shops for well-known brands like Effy, Pandora, and Swarovski, providing a contemporary shopping atmosphere.
With these enhancements now in place, Carnival Conquest has returned to its base in Miami and continues to offer short 3- and 4-night cruises, including stops at Carnival’s private island, Celebration Key.
