Carnival Conquest Makes a Grand Comeback to Miami Post-Refit
The Carnival Conquest has resumed operations from Miami following a comprehensive 12-day drydocking at Freeport’s Grand Bahama Shipyard. This refurbishment saw the introduction and upgrade of various facilities aimed at improving the cruise experience for passengers.
A standout feature is the newly established Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, specifically designed to honor military veterans and active service members. This venue contributes to Operation Homefront, a charitable organization that supports US military families, through the sale of a special commemorative glass and a branded ale.
Alterations during the ship’s dry dock also included a significant redesign of the Tahiti Casino on Deck 5. These updates enhanced the gaming experience with a wider variety of games and created a dedicated non-smoking area.
In addition, young guests will enjoy revamped facilities in the teen social area, Club O2, which now features new gaming zones and updated decor. The nearby WAREHOUSE video arcade has also been transformed to provide more interactive play options.
Retail outlets onboard have received a refresh as well, with shops selling brands like Effy, Pandora, and Swarovski now offering a more modern shopping environment.
With these improvements finalized, Carnival Conquest is back in Miami, running short 3- and 4-night cruises. The itineraries will include stops at Carnival’s private island destination, Celebration Key, as part of its broader Caribbean cruise offerings.
