Carnival Conquest Sets Sail for Miami After Major Shipyard Refurbishment
The Carnival Conquest has resumed operations from its homeport in Miami after completing a 12-day drydocking at Freeport’s Grand Bahama Shipyard. This refurbishment brought significant improvements to passenger amenities and operational offerings.
A standout addition is the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, designed to honor military veterans and active-duty service members. A portion of the proceeds from commemorative glasses and a specially brewed pale ale will benefit Operation Homefront, a U.S.-based organization that assists military families.
Other enhancements include a redesigned Tahiti Casino on Deck 5, which now features an expanded layout for more games and a dedicated non-smoking area. The teen social space, Club O2, also upgraded its facilities with more gaming zones and modern décor. Additionally, the WAREHOUSE video arcade underwent a transformation to enhance interactivity for younger guests.
Retail spaces were not overlooked, as shops on Deck 5 that carry brands like Effy, Pandora, and Swarovski underwent refurbishment to create a more inviting shopping atmosphere.
With these upgrades complete, Carnival Conquest is back in service, offering short 3- and 4-night cruises from Miami. The itineraries include visits to CCL’s private island destination, Celebration Key, as part of a broader Caribbean cruise program.
