Royal Caribbean’s Legend OTS Set to Launch First Royal Railway on an ICON Class Ship
Royal Caribbean International is set to launch its latest ship, the Legend of the Seas, as part of its ICON Class in July 2026. This new vessel will introduce a vast selection of dining options, boasting 28 unique venues that range from casual food stalls to immersive specialty dining experiences, further enhancing the culinary landscape at sea.
One of the standout features of Legend of the Seas is the debut of the Royal Railway immersive dining concept on an ICON Class ship. This venue aims to transport diners through a multi-course meal inspired by the historic Silk Routes, connecting flavors from regions such as China, Turkey, India, Persia, and Italy.
In addition to this, the ship will house a Hollywoodland Supper Club, reflecting early twentieth-century cinema with a sequence of courses designed to evoke that golden era of film.
The AquaDome Market will also make a return, featuring six stalls, five of which are new culinary stations. Options will include a Cajun eatery, a Mexican stand called Adobo, a Spanish tapas outlet named La Española, a Korean station called Seoulmate, and a freshly squeezed juice bar, along with the existing creperie, Crème de la Crêpe.
Among the ship’s offerings are Royal Caribbean’s signature dining experiences, which encompass premium steak options, seafood, sushi, and casual dining settings familiar to guests.
Legend of the Seas will commence its maiden voyages with 7-night Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Civitavecchia before moving to Fort Lauderdale for Caribbean itineraries later in the 2026 season.
