Fincantieri Unveils “Four Seasons I”: The World’s First Intelligent Ultra-Luxury Superyacht
Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has officially delivered the world’s first intelligent ultra-luxury superyacht, the Four Seasons I, to Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, the joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts. This significant event took place on February 25, 2026, at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard.
The Four Seasons I is a product of the Navis Sapiens program, which integrates artificial intelligence and real-time data into the ship’s operations, showcasing the yacht’s innovative design. With a gross tonnage of approximately 34,000 and a length of 207 meters (679 feet), this vessel deviates from traditional large cruise ship designs by offering just 95 opulently designed suites, embracing a residential-style layout where each suite serves as an ocean-facing retreat.
Among its luxurious accommodations is the Funnel Suite, which offers around 457 square meters of indoor-outdoor space, marking it as one of the most spacious private quarters ever built for a hospitality vessel.
The yacht is constructed with advanced environmental protection technologies and boasts extensive open-air living spaces, designed to foster a seamless relationship with the ocean.
The handover ceremony was attended by high-ranking executives from both Fincantieri and Four Seasons Yachts, alongside local dignitaries. The success of the project was made possible thanks to the contributions of over 2,000 personnel at the shipbuilding yard, who conducted the intricate assembly and systems integration required for this bespoke vessel.
Fincantieri’s Ancona yard was praised for its substantial production capabilities, instrumental in overcoming the unique technical and design challenges of constructing the Four Seasons I.
