The 2026 cruise season at Canada Place Terminal in downtown Vancouver officially began on February 26th, marked by the arrival of the Disney Wonder. This ship’s first call of the year involved disembarking and embarking passengers while restocking supplies before heading south.
The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority predicts a record-breaking season for vessel traffic and passenger volume, with almost 360 ship calls and over 1.4 million passengers expected from now until autumn. Following Disney Wonder’s visit, the ship will return in May for a series of weekly Alaskan sailings. The next scheduled arrival at the terminal will be the Nieuw Amsterdam in April.
The cruise schedule for 2026 indicates an increase in both the frequency and variety of ships visiting, as new lines prepare to dock at Canada Place. In addition to Disney Wonder, Disney Magic will be homeported for the summer, boosting capacity for Alaskan cruises.
