Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has officially delivered the "Four Seasons I," the world’s first intelligent ultra-luxury superyacht, to Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, the joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts. The handover ceremony took place on February 25th at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Ancona.
The "Four Seasons I" is the first vessel completed under Fincantieri’s Navis Sapiens program, which integrates artificial intelligence and real-time data into the ship’s operations. The yacht boasts a gross tonnage of approximately 34,000 and spans 207 meters (679 feet) in length, featuring a unique design with just 95 residential-style suites, each designed as an ocean-facing sanctuary.
One of the standout features is the Funnel Suite, offering 457 square meters of indoor and outdoor space, marking it as one of the largest accommodations ever built for a hospitality vessel. Furthermore, the yacht incorporates advanced environmental protection systems and expansive outdoor living areas that enhance the connection with the surrounding sea.
The delivery ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from Fincantieri and Four Seasons Yachts, along with local dignitaries, and followed months of construction involving over 2,000 personnel who contributed to the yacht’s outfitting and system integration. The shipyard’s robust production capabilities were crucial in overcoming the technical and design challenges associated with this unique vessel.
