TUI Launches Update on Two Ships in the Middle East: What Passengers Need to Know
TUI Cruises recently provided updates regarding its operations in the Middle East, particularly concerning the Mein Schiff 4 and Mein Schiff 5. In a statement on March 3, 2026, the company reaffirmed that it remains in close coordination with authorities and international security experts.
The safety and well-being of guests and crew members are the top priorities. TUI noted that onboard operations on both vessels are running smoothly and that the travel advisories from the German Federal Foreign Office for the region remain unchanged. However, the company announced the cancellation of six cruises, affecting departures scheduled for March 1, 2, 8, and 9 on the Mein Schiff 4, as well as the sailings on February 28 and March 5 on the Mein Schiff 5.
All affected guests have been informed, and TUI is working with airlines to help facilitate reliable return plans, given the limited flight connections due to the ongoing situation. The company assured that it will keep passengers updated as new information becomes available.
Currently, the Mein Schiff 4 and Mein Schiff 5 are docked in Abu Dhabi and Doha, respectively, as TUI Cruises continues to monitor the situation closely.
