AmaWaterways Unveils Enhanced Culinary and Hospitality Program for Unforgettable River Cruising Experiences
AmaWaterways is set to elevate its offerings in the upcoming season with a refreshed branding and a focus on enhancing the overall guest experience. CEO Catherine Powell has announced a commitment to provide more resources towards improving accommodations, culinary options, and guest amenities across its fleet.
The enhancements begin in the staterooms, where guests can look forward to upgraded linens, plush bathrobes, and slippers. Luxurious bathroom amenities from the brand Marie-Stella-Maris will be introduced, alongside a new retail partnership featuring Laura Geller Beauty skincare products available for purchase in onboard boutiques.
Culinary experiences are being expanded as well. The Chef’s Table restaurant will now boast new Italian luncheon menus, while Culinary Director Robert Kellerhals has curated a selection of signature dinners that will rotate among the fleet. Furthermore, the main lounge has been renamed The Lark and will offer an all-day dining menu along with refreshments throughout the day.
The wine program will also see broader offerings, featuring over 30 selections of red, white, and rosé wines available for each sailing, alongside premium bottles at an additional cost. For special departures, regional chocolatiers will provide confections representative of the cruise itinerary.
Additionally, AmaWaterways has emphasized bakery production, with multiple fresh bread varieties prepared daily. Snack stations will be well-stocked with house-made protein balls, muesli bars, dried fruits, nuts, and freshly baked biscuits, further solidifying the line’s commitment to strengthening its culinary identity as they embark on the new operating year.
