The agreement includes a 9-year charter with an option to purchase, maintaining operational ties with Norwegian Cruise Line. This partnership ensures that the established systems and service quality are preserved, promoting continuity while adapting the Navigator for long-term habitation.

Before its relaunch, thorough renovations will realign the vessel to meet the requirements for permanent residency. These plans feature redesigned public spaces, individualized living options, and a business center to accommodate remote work. Avora Lumina’s distinct size enables access to smaller ports and the capability for polar navigation, which will support diverse itineraries, including possible excursions into Antarctic waters.
