Euribia Shines in Dubai: MSC Cancels Remaining Arabian Gulf Cruises for 2026-2027 Season

MSC Cruises has officially canceled its remaining winter 2026-2027 schedule in the Middle East, citing ongoing conflicts in the Arabian Gulf that have disrupted the operations of the MSC Euribia. The ship is currently docked in Dubai and is unable to depart due to the unstable conditions in the region.

Passenger safety remains the top priority for MSC, and the Euribia will stay in port until it is deemed safe for travel. With commercial flights operating at a reduced capacity in the Persian Gulf, MSC is working with airline partners to arrange for the return of guests. However, widespread disruptions have created challenges in organizing outbound flights, with many travelers waiting to be repatriated.

The cruise line is also engaging with embassies and foreign ministries to monitor the situation and facilitate the safe return of all on board. Despite the extended stay in Dubai, conditions aboard are reported to be stable, with passengers enjoying access to the ship’s amenities and services.

With the cancellation of the last three Middle East departures, plans for MSC Euribia include repositioning northward in April for a summer season in Northern Europe, before transitioning to Mediterranean routes in October. Until then, MSC’s focus remains on ensuring guest safety and maintaining operational support for the crew during this challenging phase.
