A-ROSA Unveils Exciting Expanded Rhine and Danube Program for 25th Anniversary Season
A-ROSA River Cruises is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2027 with an enhanced program on the Rhine and Danube rivers. This special season will see the introduction of 20 new itineraries, expansion of its departure ports, and the debut of southbound sailings on the flagship vessel, A-ROSA SENA.
As part of this celebration, A-ROSA will introduce two new embarkation ports. In Duisburg, A-ROSA AQUA and A-ROSA SENA will primarily depart, operating northbound routes to cities in the Netherlands and Belgium while allowing longer port stays. This change will facilitate visits to the International Garden Exhibition 2027 in the Ruhr region.
On the Danube, A-ROSA FLORA will shift its main departure point to Vienna, offering 5- and 7-night itineraries that focus on major Danube capitals. Extended voyages up to 16 nights will also be available, taking guests to the river’s cataracts and delta, appealing particularly to international travelers.
For the first time, A-ROSA SENA will operate southbound itineraries from Duisburg, calling at historical cities like Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Rüdesheim am Rhein, and Mainz. New itineraries such as "Middle Rhine Valley, Vines & Lorelei" and "Rhine City Break in Winter" will include extended stays in previously unvisited destinations.
The fleet will see other route announcements as well. A-ROSA CLEA will begin operating Moselle itineraries from Cologne and introduce a new 3-night Rhineland Mini Cruise. A-ROSA DONNA will adjust its 7-night Danube Classics departures to Saturdays for improved international travel connections.
Additionally, A-ROSA is updating its fare structure, with the current Premium fare becoming A-ROSA Premium All Inclusive, focusing on onboard dining and entertainment enhancements, including themed buffet evenings and unique culinary experiences. An upgraded Drinks Package Plus will also be available at a promotional rate until late November 2026.
Bookings for highlight cruises in 2027 opened in March 2026, offering limited promotional fares via travel agencies and the company’s service center.
