CCL-Carnival Cruise Line Rolls Out Expanded Express Dining Across Its Fleet
Carnival Cruise Line has launched a new dining option called Express Dining, aiming to offer faster evening meal service while preserving the quality and presentation that guests expect from its main dining rooms. This initiative will be rolled out across the entire fleet by the end of May, having already been implemented on 15 ships.
The Express Dining service allows guests to enjoy a multi-course dinner that is prepared fresh and served in under an hour for parties of up to six. President Christine Duffy noted that the expansion of this concept came in response to passenger feedback highlighting the desire for more flexible use of their time onboard. A pilot phase showed positive guest reception, prompting broader implementation across more vessels.
Importantly, Express Dining is designed to complement existing dining options, rather than replace them. Passengers can still opt for the traditional, leisurely meal service. While the accelerated dining option will follow a similar menu, it will feature a slightly reduced selection of dishes. Dietary requests and special meal needs will still be accommodated.
Guests using the flexible dining option, known as Carnival HUB App Your Time Dining, can select Express Dining through the mobile app. This new initiative is part of Carnival’s broader efforts to expand food and beverage options on board and enhance passengers’ overall experience. Another recent addition, Family Express service on the Lido Deck, also stemmed from strong guest feedback during a trial run on Carnival Vista.
