MSC Seashore Resumes Course After Midnight False Alarm: What Happened?
A precautionary search operation took place aboard the MSC Seashore in the early hours of March 10, 2026, after reports emerged that a passenger may have fallen overboard. After an immediate assessment by the ship’s officers, it was confirmed that the information was incorrect and that all passengers were safe.
The MSC Seashore had just left Ocean Cay Bahamas as part of a four-night cruise, departing shortly before midnight. Shortly after taking off, a message circulated among guests suggesting that a male passenger might have gone overboard from one of the public decks. In response, the ship’s bridge team executed a precautionary maneuver and turned back toward the area that had just been passed, shining searchlights into the surrounding waters.

Following these checks, the MSC Seashore resumed its original course without any disruption to its itinerary and continued its voyage toward Nassau as planned.
