Univewld Unveils Stunning Renderings of S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene Ahead of 2027 Launch
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has unveiled initial renderings of its upcoming river vessels, the S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene, both set to make their debut in 2027. Announced originally in March 2025, these ships will showcase unique designs inspired by classic cinema icons, with the S.S. Audrey reflecting the style of Audrey Hepburn and the S.S. Marlene channeling the aesthetic of Marlene Dietrich.
Ellen Bettridge, the President and CEO of Uniworld, emphasized that distinctive design is a hallmark of the company’s fleet. The new vessels are designed to deepen the connection between guests and the destinations they will explore.
The S.S. Audrey will feature a palette of greens, golds, and blues, incorporating geometric patterns that echo Hepburn’s signature look. It is scheduled to commence service on April 16, 2027, sailing the Remarkable Rhine and Historic Holland itineraries, as well as routes including Paris, Prague, and Germany’s Hidden Gems.
Conversely, the S.S. Marlene will adopt warmer tones of tan and gold, accented with pink, red, and blue hues. It will enter service earlier, on March 27, 2027, starting with its Tulips and Windmills itinerary. Following its launch, it will navigate established routes on the Danube.
In addition to these two ships, Uniworld will also introduce the S.S. São Rafael in 2027, further expanding its fleet offerings.
