Marella Cruises Unveils Exciting Entertainment Line-Up for 30th Anniversary Celebrations
Marella Cruises is gearing up to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special onboard entertainment program featuring a lineup of live performances and guest appearances. Starting May 1st, the festivities will unfold across its five-ship fleet.
The anniversary sailings will spotlight performances by well-known artists, including Pixie Lott and Lemar, along with special appearances by personalities like Fleur East, Boyzlife, and La Voix. The celebrations will also include interactive Q&A sessions with guests such as Michael Edwards, Anthea Turner, and broadcaster Michaela Strachan.
During the anniversary voyage on Marella Discovery, Pixie Lott will light up the stage, while Lemar is scheduled to perform on Marella Explorer 2 alongside Michaela Strachan, who will also host a Q&A session aboard Marella Voyager. Additional entertainment includes Fleur East on Marella Discovery 2, and a performance by Boyzlife on another sailing from Palma aboard Marella Explorer. Marella Voyager will feature a headline show by La Voix, while Anthea Turner will discuss her career during an appearance on Marella Discovery sailing from Limassol.
Each 7-night sailing will also incorporate themed events inspired by the company’s founding year in 1996, with activities including a birthday gala, "Party Like It’s 1996" celebrations, and trivia sessions focused on the 1990s culture.
Chief executive Chris Hackney emphasized that the anniversary agenda would honor three decades of Marella’s presence in the UK cruise market. The program promises to be a nostalgic tribute, blending music, themed entertainment, and engaging events to provide a unique experience for both returning and first-time guests.
Pixie Lott expressed her enthusiasm, looking forward to being part of the special celebrations and contributing to the onboard festivities designed for the passengers.
