Royal Caribbean Unveils ‘America’s Got Talent LIVE’ Experience on Legend of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International (RCI) is set to premiere a new stage production, "America’s Got Talent LIVE," on board the Legend of the Seas in August 2026. This show will be the first time the popular television franchise is adapted for a maritime setting.
Performances will take place in the Royal Theater of the ship, showcasing a variety of talent including magicians, musicians, acrobats, and aerialists, all selected from the broader Got Talent network. While the show maintains the essence of the original format, it has been restructured to cater to a cruise audience and a diverse international passenger base.
RCI’s decision to introduce "America’s Got Talent LIVE" is part of a broader strategy to enhance onboard entertainment, which includes theatrical productions, aquatic performances in the AquaTheater, and ice-based shows in the largest ice arena at sea. This initiative aligns with the company’s goal of offering large-scale, visually appealing entertainment that meets modern cruising expectations.
Fremantle, the production company behind the franchise, views this collaboration as a fresh opportunity to engage audiences through internationally acclaimed acts in a dedicated maritime venue.
Legend of the Seas is scheduled to operate seven-night Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona and Civitavecchia starting in summer 2026. Following this, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale in November, offering 6- and 8-night Caribbean cruises, which will include stops at various ports in the Western and Southern Caribbean, as well as visits to RCI’s private destination in the Bahamas.
